Get extra ‘cheesy’ with Domino’s and Gogglebox

Relaxing on the couch and watching your favourite TV show… it doesn’t get much better than that. Or does it?

Well, we think it can, with the addition of a slice or two of your favourite Domino’s pizza, of course!

In honour of Domino’s new partnership with Gogglebox Australia, we invite you to settle in for the top three reasons why watching other people watch TV is not only fun, but also strategic for your weekly TV show viewing schedule.

Tune in as we devour these cheesy moments from the latest episode of Gogglebox – best enjoyed with a slice of, well, pizza!

 1.    Leave the cooking to the experts

On the latest episode of Gogglebox, the families watched as famed chef Rick Stein showcased his cooking talents while travelling across Europe (and gave us and the Goggleboxers a side of travel envy in the process).

Now, as impressed as we were by some of the…interesting… dishes Rick sampled during his travels, watching the Goggleboxers take in the delicacies Rick sampled, we learned, like best mates and Gogglebox stars Nic and Milo, that sometimes it’s best to leave the cooking to the experts!

After all, there’s nothing quite like the satisfied feeling you get when watching a cooking show while enjoying a slice of piping hot pizza that you didn’t have to make yourself. Check!

2.    You learn which shows to watch – and which to avoid!

At some point, we’ve likely all sat down to one of the many reality dating shows that have aired over the years.

Now, whether this genre is up your alley or not, we were as surprised as the Goggleboxers when we saw a new version of reality dating on the show – in the form of people disguised as animals and zombies!

Yes, you head that correctly, and if the first words out of your mouth were like Nic and Milo’s “What the?!” reaction, then same. The concept was a little…cheesy.

Look, we won’t judge your taste in TV shows, but if you want to know if you’ll enjoy that new dating show everyone keeps talking about before giving up your night to watch something you might not absolutely love? Then take our advice, and tune into Gogglebox. You’ll learn pretty quickly whether it’s a ‘pepper-oh-no’ or a yes!

3.    You feel like you’re watching TV with friends

For some of us, the last year has been pretty lonely, and at times, isolating. But with Gogglebox, even when we’re not allowed to gather around with family and friends to watch our favourite show, you almost feel as if you’re with friends, thanks to the laughter the Goggleboxers provide.

Just like the comfort and joy a slice of Domino’s brings, the quick wit, slight cheesiness, and conversation throughout makes you feel as if you’re sitting on the couch next to the Goggleboxers yourself.

So, why not order in your favourite Domino’s pizza, and get comfy for next week’s episode to hear the Goggleboxers’ thoughts on the week of TV that’s been?

We can’t wait to tune in with you then!
