Domino’s to give away year’s supply of garlic bread

Garlic bread fans rejoice – it’s National Garlic Day today and Domino's is giving away a year’s supply of one of its most popular accompaniments.

Domino’s CEO for Australia and New Zealand Nick Knight said garlic bread was one of the most popular items on its menu and each day the Company sold… a lot, with one in three orders including the tasty side.

If one lucky person can guess how much, they’ll win the bunch of bread.

“Garlic bread remains consistent; while we constantly improve our menu, working on new flavours and ingredients, you can’t get much better than melted garlic butter on a soft loaf, for sharing with friends and family,” Mr Knight said.

“Friends share garlic bread while watching reality TV, parents and children share it while having a family night in – it’s something on the menu everyone agrees on.

“I can’t tell you how many we sell a day because the person who guesses that is going to win a year’s supply.

“Our garlic bread is also vegan friendly, making it the perfect side to accompany one of our vegan pizzas now that vegan cheese is back in stock in most stores across the country.”

In January 2017, the nation suffered a garlic bread shortage after one of Australia’s biggest suppliers had to recall stock.

“We know from the Great Garlic Bread Drought of 2017 just how passionate garlic bread fans truly are,” Mr Knight said.

“Now the most passionate (and those with the best deductive and maths skills) can satisfy their hunger.

“We’re excited about the competition and we can’t wait to see who the lucky customer will be.”

To win, comment on Domino’s Facebook post how many garlic breads (including cheesy) you think will be sold across Domino’s stores in Australia this National Garlic Day.

The person with the closest guess will be notified, and they can enjoy one garlic bread per week for a whole year.
