Domino's opens 17,000th store in Bradbury

Domino’s will commemorate the opening of its 17,000th store in the world with a special celebration on Monday, 2 March.

The milestone store – located in Bradbury, New South Wales – will be opened in true Domino’s style, with FREE* pizza and a total of $17,000 up for grabs**.

From 12 – 1pm, the store will be serving up free pizzas to carryout customers, with 17 of those pizza boxes featuring a hidden “Golden Slice” on them, worth $1,000 in cash.

The opening will be marked by a special visit and ribbon-cutting ceremony by Domino’s executives from USA and Australia.

“Domino’s opened its first international store in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in 1983. We’ve come a long way since then, and I’m incredibly proud to celebrate the opening of our 17,000th store in the world,” Mr Allison said. “This achievement is a true testament to how hard Domino’s has worked and truly is a reflection of the success of our global brand.”

Don Meij, CEO and Managing Director of the Australian-headquartered and ASX-listed Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Ltd, said he was excited to celebrate this global milestone in the Company’s home market.

“This is an incredible milestone for the Domino’s brand, and we’re honoured that it is happening in Australia,” Mr Meij said.

“The first Domino’s store in Australia opened in 1983 and since then we have grown to 700 stores across the country, and more than 2,600 stores in nine markets around the world. We couldn’t be more thrilled to commemorate Domino’s 17,000th store in the world, right here in Bradbury.

“This store opening represents our commitment to international growth and development, and we look forward to continuing our global growth momentum by opening even more stores closer to our customers and serving up high-quality food to local residents.”
