Domino’s to pick up the bill
With as many as one million people expected to lose their jobs or be stood down during the COVID-19 pandemic, Aussies are set to feel the pinch.
But as the bills pile in, Domino’s is committed to taking away the sting – paying up to $5,000 worth of household bills across Australia.
Domino’s Australia and New Zealand CEO Nick Knight said the Company wants to help alleviate some of the pressure on those experiencing financial hardship at this time.
“While $500 doesn’t sound like much to some, it could be the difference between keeping the lights on and food on the table for others.
“We know there’s a lot of people experiencing financial hardship right now – whether they have recently lost a job, or someone in the family has.
“While we can all tighten our purse strings when it comes to unnecessary expenses, there are still bills that need to be paid piling up,” Mr Knight said.
“So, whether it be a phone, internet or electricity bill, an upcoming rent payment, car registration, or even credit card debt – we want to help Aussies get through this challenging period.”
The pizza chain is encouraging Australians who have recently lost their job, or who are experiencing financial hardship to apply.
