Local Domino’s Delivery Expert Rahul Kumar has been named Domino’s Delivery Expert of the Year, making more than 1,300 safe deliveries to Epping North locals over the past 12 months.

Rahul was recognised for his outstanding road safety, customer service and efficiency last night at Domino’s annual ANZ Rally event (which was held virtually).

Domino’s Epping North franchisee Dinesh Varadar said he was proud of Rahul for being recognised as Domino’s Delivery Expert of the Year.

“It’s no surprise that Rahul has been recognised for his exceptional delivery skills,” he said.

“As a Delivery Expert delivering Epping North locals their favourite, piping hot Domino’s pizza for more than a year, Rahul knows this area like the back of his hand.  

“His organised and methodical approach ensures every pizza that leaves the store is delivered safely and on time – not to mention piping hot!”

At Domino’s, our motto is ‘slow where it matters, fast where it counts’, which means taking the time to make each pizza carefully and to be careful on the roads, while looking for operational efficiencies.

Mr Varadar said Rahul lives and breathes this belief, always taking the time to ensure every order is quickly placed in the hot cell, and hustled out the door to hungry customers.  

“His dedication to providing Epping North locals the best customer experience is second to none!”

Local Delivery Expert Rahul said he was proud to be delivering safe, hot meals to locals in the Epping North community during this challenging time.

“As a Delivery Expert I have spent a lot of time delivering Epping North locals their favourite, piping hot Domino’s pizza,” he said.   

“Right now, I know that a hot meal, friendly face and reassurance that a customer’s meal has been prepared taking all necessary safety precautions is more essential than ever before.

“I feel proud to be able to help deliver on this promise, and to play my part in helping keep Epping North locals at home and safely fed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Using Domino’s Zero Contact Delivery, we have been able to help feed the community and deliver locals a ‘slice’ of normalcy during this tough time.”

Rahul said there was many things he enjoyed about being a Delivery Expert, but his favourite was the ability to brighten a customer’s day.

"Taking that extra minute at the door to ask how a customer’s day is really goes a long way, especially at the moment,” he said.

 “My motto is to hustle with a smile, and to make each customer interaction a safe and memorable one."

Epping North locals can look forward to continuing to receive more piping hot pizzas from Australia and New Zealand Delivery Expert of the Year, Rahul Kumar.
