Northam locals receiving the fastest, freshest pizzas in the country

Domino’s Northam has been recognised as the fastest pizza store in Australia and New Zealand – safely delivering freshly made pizzas to Northam locals in an average of 12 minutes and 20 seconds across an entire year.

The announcement comes following the release of Domino’s Global Actual Delivery Time (ADT) rankings, revealing Domino’s Northam as the fastest store in Australia and New Zealand, and the second fastest, globally.

Domino’s Australia and New Zealand CEO Nick Knight said the Company was delighted by the store’s achievement and unwavering commitment to upholding food quality and safety.

“Time is the enemy of food, which means every minute counts when delivering safe, piping hot pizzas,” Mr Knight said.

“The longer a customer has to wait, the lower their satisfaction with the meal. Ultimately, customers want high quality food, delivered quickly, and Domino’s Northam is proud to deliver on that.

“Our motto is ‘slow where it matters, fast where it counts’, which means taking the time to carefully prepare each pizza and to be careful on the roads, while finding operational efficiencies.

“Domino’s Northam live and breathe this belief, demonstrating that it is possible to deliver freshly made pizzas without compromising on food quality, value or safety,” Mr Knight said.

“We’re so proud of the team for pushing the boundaries of what’s possible – carefully making, baking and taking safe, hot meals to hungry customers in record time.”

Domino’s Northam franchisee Gaurav Sharma said he is fanatical about reducing operational bottlenecks to improve efficiencies and cut down customer wait times.

“During busy periods, our drivers are called to the dispatch station before the order is completely out of the oven, meaning before it is cut and boxed, a Delivery Expert is waiting to hustle it out of the door,” Mr Sharma said.

“Additionally, every team member is crossed trained – meaning a Delivery Expert who may be waiting to take a delivery can help to carefully prepare a pizza, or a team member skilled at the cut bench can also take an order at the front counter – as a result, no customer is ever left waiting.”

Mr Sharma said he couldn’t be prouder of his team for their commitment and dedication to delivering Northam locals high quality food, fast – with their hard word recognised at the Company’s annual Australia and New Zealand Rally.

Receiving a total of five awards, including Domino’s ANZ ATD Champion, Mr Sharma said being the fastest pizza store is a team effort.

“Every day the team is ready to take on a new challenge. I look forward to continuing the momentum our team has built and breaking more records soon!”

In the Global ADT rankings, Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Ltd (DPE) recorded 32 stores in the top 50, including the world’s fastest store in France.

Domino’s Northam is located at 68 Fitzgerald St E, Northam WA 6401.
