Former Caboolture pizza maker is Domino’s new Head of Franchise Operations
Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Ltd (Domino’s) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kellie-Anne Drever to Head of Franchise Operations.
Ms Drever will oversee the operations of more than 700 Domino’s stores across Australia and serve as a member of the Company’s Executive Leadership Team.
Ms Drever brings almost three decades of hands-on experience to the role, having first put on the uniform as a teenage pizza maker in Caboolture, Queensland, in 1995, after a friend recommended the job.
“He raved about the environment being fast-paced, supportive, rewarding and fun,” Ms Drever said. “It has definitely been everything he described and more with the leaders in the business providing so many opportunities to learn, grow and be inspired.
“I feel it’s my responsibility now to ensure the same opportunities are provided to every team member, manager and franchisee.”
Ms Drever has worked in both store management and corporate positions, including Learning and Development, Innovation, Training, and most recently as Queensland Market Manager.
She is also the recipient of an incredible five Domino’s Leadership Eagle Awards – the highest accolade bestowed by the Company, and has additionally been recognised as ANZ Corporate Services Team Member of the Year.
“I’ve sort of grown with the company. When I started there was about 100 stores and today we have 3,419 across 10 markets around the world.”
With a double degree in Science and Education, Ms Drever’s passion for learning and innovation has seen her responsible for the roll out of many of the business’s biggest projects including the GPS Driver Tracker, DOM Pizza Checker and Inventory App.
“The fundamentals of running a pizza store haven’t changed much over the years,” she said.
“It was, and will always be, about providing customers with a great quality product, delivered safely and efficiently at an affordable price.
“The real changes have been the innovation and technology used to help streamline the process.”
Domino’s ANZ Chief Executive Officer David Burness said he was thrilled to have someone of Ms Drever’s calibre step into the role to support the continued growth and success of franchisees.
“Few could match her extensive knowledge of this business, having been with the brand from its earliest days and having mentored and worked alongside so many of our most successful operators,” Mr Burness said.
“I have personally known Kellie-Anne for over 20 years and worked with her on numerous projects in that time. She is one of the most diligent professionals I have ever met and is dedicated to the development of her people. She will bring this focus to our operations right across the country and I look forward to seeing the great things she will accomplish."
