Deliver Pepperoni, bring home the Bacon! Domino’s serves up more than 7,500 jobs across Australia

More than 740 Domino’s stores across Australia are coming together to hold a National Recruitment Day this Saturday, 5 August 2023.

The best part? More than 7,500 jobs are on offer across the country and all you need to do is turn up with your resume, a great attitude and love of all things pizza!

From 11am-3pm on Saturday 5 August, those keen to get a foot in the door at Domino’s can visit any of our stores where they will be able to meet the team and fast track the recruitment process.

Domino’s Group CEO and Managing Director Don Meij said a career with Domino’s offers more than just making pizza.

“As one of Australia’s largest employers, we are passionate about teaching our team members more than just how to make a pizza.

“For example, we are proud to have recently launched our Path to Excellence program, which is focused on accelerating the growth and development of our people through the Domino’s business,” Mr Meij said.

“We are also proud of the number of franchisees and leaders in our business who started as Delivery Experts or Pizza Makers – we truly have such amazing talent and tenure in our business.”

As the cost of living continues to rise, a job at Domino’s offers the perfect opportunity for additional hours and some extra ‘dough’.

Domino’s team members are paid amongst the highest wages in the industry, including late nights, weekends, and public holiday rates as per the Modern Fast Food Award.

“We offer flexible hours – perfect for those who are looking for something casual while at school or studying, or part/full time roles for those who are looking for a fun and fast paced career in pizza,” Mr Meij said.

Domino’s franchisee Ryan de Vink, who owns and operates three Domino’s stores in South Australia, said he was looking forward to meeting potential new team members and providing employment opportunities to the next generation of passionate pizza people.

“At Domino’s, we pride ourselves on being a fun and supportive place to work and are passionate about finding the right people to join our teams to ‘make, bake and take’ delicious pizzas to customers.

“Domino’s is a people-first business, and our stores are a great place to gain important life skills and grow both as an individual and professionally.

“Many of our franchisees, myself included, began as Delivery Experts and there’s so many leaders in the Domino’s business who share this same story. It just goes to show you never know how far a career in pizza might take you!

“Here I am, 21 years later, passionate about working with my team to ensure that as well as providing excellent customer service and making perfect pizzas, they are confident communicators and problem solvers, who are constantly learning and growing.

“If you’re passionate about all things pizza and think you might have ‘pizza sauce running through your veins’, then we look forward to seeing you on Saturday!” said Mr de Vink.

All interested applicants are encouraged to visit their local Domino’s store with their resume on Saturday 6 August between 11am-3pm, or to apply online by visiting www.jobs.dominos.com.au
