Domino’s reveals the most terrifying pizza creations ever ordered

Prepare to be spooked! This Halloween, Domino’s has unveiled the most shocking pizza orders it has ever received — terrifying creations that are sure to send chills down your spine.

Asking their pizza makers across Australia and New Zealand to share the most bizarre pizza orders they have ever received, the team unanimously agreed on the horrifying top five:

  • The Popeye: A monstrous creation with no cheese topped with double spinach, double anchovies, and double chilli flakes.

  • The Ghost: A haunting cheese pizza with no toppings, just chilli flakes…

  • The Pineapple Phantom: A terrifying twist on the classic Hawaiian, with no ham and triple the pineapple (yes, triple pineapple).

  • The Cheese Cauldron: A bubbling cauldron of just cheese topped with every post-bake sauce on the menu, garnished with spring onions.

  • The Devil's Delight: A fiery inferno of extra red-hot sauce, onions, tomatoes, chicken, beef, pepperoni, cheese, jalapenos, bacon, and chilli flakes.

Domino’s Head of Product Development & Innovation Michael Treacy says over the years Domino’s has received countless unusual pizza combinations, but none of them are as fearsome as these.

“It’s always exciting to see what our customers will dream up. The amazing thing about pizza is that the combinations are endless which always keeps things interesting in our kitchens. We have truly seen it all, which is a testament to the creativity of our customers. While some are inspiring, other orders can haunt you. In the spirit of the spooky season, these combinations are sure to make you jump!”

Domino’s is spicing things up with the new limited edition Halloween menu items available in stores across Australia from Monday, October 28th until Friday, November 1st. Pizza lovers can get their frightful fix from their choice of the new:

  • 5pk Spicy Blood Sauce Wings: Domino’s succulent chicken wings are getting a deadly makeover this spooky season. For those who dare, the devilishly delicious 5pk of Wings smothered in Spicy Blood Sauce is a must-try.

  • Spicy Blood Sauce: Customers can add a fiery twist this Halloween by adding a devilish drizzle of Spicy Blood Sauce for free to any pizza as a post-bake sauce - it’s sure to leave your taste buds tingling.

Domino’s ANZ Chief Marketing Officer Allan Collins says Domino’s loves adding a touch of spooky fun to the menu at Halloween.

“Halloween is all about embracing the unexpected, and our customers have certainly delivered. From the bizarre to the downright terrifying, we've seen some seriously spooky pizza orders that have left us scratching our heads.”

“While we won’t be adding the chilling customer concoctions as menu items, pizza lovers can satisfy their Halloween cravings with our new spicy twist. Our new limited-time offerings are designed to satisfy even the most thrill-seeking customers.”

Customers can order the new items in-store, through the Domino’s app, or online at www.dominos.com.au.
