Domino’s pledges to raise $400k for youth mental health this Friday – all you need to do is buy a pizza!
Make your pizza count! On Friday, 21 February Domino's will be opening its doors (and ovens) across Australia and New Zealand for its fourth annual Domino’s For Good Day, aiming to raise a whopping $400,000 for youth mental health and disaster relief. All you have to do is… buy a pizza!
Domino's for Good Day is the largest annual fundraiser for Domino's registered charity, Minds & Meals, raising vital funds to support young people's mental health and provide comfort during times of disaster. Enjoy your Friday team lunch or cheeky takeaway dinner guilt-free!
Set to be the biggest ‘doughraiser’ yet, Domino's will be serving up more than just delicious meals – every pizza sold will contribute to a worthy cause. More than 900 stores across Australia and New Zealand will be coming together to donate $1 from every pizza* and 10c from every drink** purchased directly to Domino’s registered charity Minds & Meals. So, whether you’re a Loaded Pepperoni devotee or a Hawaiian hero, your pizza purchase will make all the difference.
“Domino’s For Good Day is one of the most important days of the year for our team members and community, with youth mental health being a cause that is close to our hearts,” said Domino’s Mind & Meals General Manager, Christine Bryant.
“As one of the largest employers of young people across the country, we recognise the importance of our amazing charity network’s resources in providing support when it’s needed most. Thanks to the help of pizza lovers across the country, in 2024 alone we were able to fund more than 67,000 digital support sessions for young people across Australia experiencing mental ill-health and over 20,000 hours in the field helping disaster recovery, in response to the devastating storms in Far North Queensland in early 2024. With our new and existing charity partners on board, we can’t wait to see the impact we have in 2025.”
The Minds & Meals charity network is dedicated to supporting youth mental health and disaster relief through national partnerships with headspace, Australian Red Cross, GIVIT, and Orange Sky. In 2024, the charity contributed more than $1.25M to support thousands of young people across Australia, through support sessions and mentoring and help fund disaster relief recovery aid projects as well as working to ensure community preparedness before disaster strikes.
Domino’s ANZ CEO Kerri Hayman said, “We’ve been blown away by the generosity of our Domino’s community over the past three years, with customers supporting Domino’s for Good Day more and more and consistently rounding up their pizza orders to further support Minds & Meals throughout the year. This year, we're aiming even higher, hoping to surpass last year's record-breaking doughraiser and raise over $400,000 for Minds & Meals. If you've got a pizza craving, Domino's for Good Day is the perfect time to satisfy it – your pizza will be helping a great cause!"
To get involved, all you need to do is visit your local Domino’s store or order online this Friday 21st February. Customers can also choose to round up any order to the nearest dollar online and in-store to help support Minds & Meals all year round.
