What's the secret to Domino’s deliciousness? Hint: It's not just cheese! 

To celebrate the special sauce behind every meal, Domino’s is showing its team a slice of appreciation by adding a lucky team member’s pizza creation to menus across Australia.

In honour of its inaugural Team Member Appreciation Day, Domino's team members were invited to submit their unique flavour-packed creations in the hope they’ll be added to menus. The winning team member will see their creation served to pizza lovers across the nation and receive a $2,000 cash prize for their culinary innovation. 

The winning recipe came from 16-year-old Domino’s team member Riley, whose Sweet and Saucy Pizza features a mouth-watering combination of Crispy Rasher Bacon, Pepperoni, Seasoned Chicken, and Hickory BBQ sauce all ignited by a fiery swirl of Frank's Hot Sauce. The Sweet and Saucy Pizza will be available on menus for a limited time only from March 10th – 16th.  

Domino’s team member Riley said, “I started working at Domino’s when I was 14, and the past two years have been awesome. I’ve learned so much about teamwork and what it’s like to have a job — it’s definitely helping me get ready for the future. I’m hoping to join the Queensland Police one day.” 

“I love hot sauce — on sandwiches, wings, eggs, you name it. But especially pizza! That’s why I decided to mix Frank’s Hot Sauce with our Seasoned Chicken to create this recipe. And Domino’s actually let me do it! They take quality seriously but also let us be creative, which I really enjoy. Knowing that millions of Aussies are going to be eating a pizza, I came up with is so cool! There's no way any of my friends' jobs would let them do something like this!"
