DOMINO’S CELEBRATES MAJOR MILESTONE OPENING 700TH NATIONAL STORE AT FLAGSTONE

Domino’s is today unveiling its 700th national store opening making it the biggest ever pizza franchised business in Australia.

Domino’s CEO for Australia and New Zealand Nick Knight said the opening of the 700th store is a truly outstanding milestone for the company.

“Opening our 700th Australian store is a huge achievement for Domino’s. It really shows how many Aussie small business owners are determined to work hard and commit to store-life.

“We appreciate the hard work of committed team members across our business who are Hungry to be Better in everything they do.

“It is their drive, determination and passion for this business that will see us continue to grow, innovate and reinvigorate in the years ahead.”

The store will be operated by one of Domino’s best local pizza prodigies Greg Tinson—a multi-unit franchisee with a total of now five stores in Queensland—who has 20 years’ experience delivering piping hot pizzas.

“I started out at Domino’s as a delivery driver myself almost 20 years ago at the Beenleigh store.

“I then worked my way up to become a manager before I bought my first store at Acacia Ridge. Flagstone will now be my fifth Domino’s store and my goal, while it’s ambitious, is to double that in 2019,” said Greg.

Mr Knight explained that the new store has had a slight makeover, which will be rolled out nationally, including reclaimed and recycled materials, giving each store a unique feel.

“We are continuing our journey to holistically move towards a sustainable and eco-friendly Company. Not only are we using recycled materials, we are giving new life to pre-loved bricks by repurposing building materials, mainly bricks, from locally demolished buildings,” Mr Knight said.
