POPULAR PUFF PASTRY TO RETURN TO DOMINO’S

POPULAR PUFF PASTRY TO RETURN TO DOMINO’S

You asked – we delivered. Domino’s will reinstate its popular puff pastry to its national menu from Monday 14 May, following demand from customers on social media.

Domino’s CEO for Australia and New Zealand Nick Knight said the Company launched an online puff petition to test demand for the product.

“We knew there are some passionate puff pastry lovers out there, but after seeing the results of our online petition, we knew it was time to bring it back,” Mr Knight said.

“We’re excited that customers love puff pastry as much as we do and can’t wait to get this delicious, flaky crust back into the hands of customers.

“Our puff pastry is also vegan friendly meaning more options for our vegan friends to enjoy.

“We also launched an online petition last year to test demand for vegan cheese as social media is such an important way for customers to communicate with us and share their feedback.

“At Domino’s, we pride ourselves on our ‘people-powered pizza’ mantra and listen to what our customers want. We really strive to take their feedback on board when it comes to changes to our menu and want to deliver the flavours customers are asking for.”

Customers can add puff crust to any Value, Traditional or Premium pizza for an additional $2 for a limited time only* or enjoy a Supreme pizza on puff pastry for just $7.95, pick up.

The return of puff pastry to the menu coincides with Domino’s bringing back its popular Godfather pizza.

“We removed the Godfather from our menu back in March but after seeing comments on social media that our customers miss it, we’ve decided to bring it back,” Mr Knight said.

“The Godfather really is a classic, loaded with lots of Italian flavours like pepperoni, fresh tomato, capsicum, Italian sausage, olives, oregano and garlic sauce.”
