Pizza or Hotdog? Why Not Both! Domino's 'Pizza Dogs' Merge Two Favourites
What’s better than a piping hot Kransky-style sausage, drizzled with tomato sauce? One baked in a fresh dough bun, loaded with gooey cheese sauce and then oven-baked, obviously!
That’s right — Domino’s has officially gone where no Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) in Australia has gone before, launching its new Pizza Dogs range.
The street food favourite inspired snack combines the rich, smoky taste of a hotdog, baking it in light and fluffy but perfectly crisped dough and stretchy, silky mozzarella to offer the ultimate dough-lightful snack.
From just $3.00 for a single Pizza Dog or $5.50 for a twin pack, you can treat yourself and your bestie to the entire range, including the Classic, Double Cheese and Cheese & Bacon.
Domino’s Head of Product Development & Innovation Michael Treacy says the new menu items are a testament to the brand's dedication to developing inspiring new products and pizza innovation.
“We’re seeing consumers increasingly experiment with new taste experiences. Whether it be the Burger Pizza range we launched earlier this year or our latest Pizza Dogs launch, we want to offer consumers something different that moves them out of their typical takeaway comfort zone. A recipe for success if you will!”
As you sink your teeth into flavoursome sausage delight, Domino’s ANZ Chief Marketing Officer Allan Collins is convinced you’ll be converted from the classic sausage sizzle.
“These days, there aren’t many things in life you can get for $3.00. Pizza Dogs have to be one of my favourite new menu items that don’t just offer a taste sensation but are also fantastic value for money.
“Pizza Dogs are the perfect on the go snack, or addition to your favourite pizza order!" says Domino’s ANZ Chief Marketing Officer Allan Collins.
Customers can order in-store, through the Domino's app, or online at www.dominos.com.au.
