CRUST COMEBACK: Domino’s cult favourite “Double Decadence” returns

CRUST COMEBACK: Domino’s cult favourite “Double Decadence” returns

You asked for it, and we listened! Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Ltd (Domino’s) is officially bringing back its legendary Double Decadence Crust by popular demand. This past weekend, Aussies unanimously cast their votes on socials demanding the return of the deliciously decadent pizza crust.

The indulgent Double Decadence Crust will be available from today as a $4.00 upgrade to any Large Domino’s pizza. The only hard work for you? Choosing your favourite pizza flavour.

Featuring a rich and gooey cheese sauce made from not one but two cheeses (cheddar and parmesan), layered between two perfectly thin ‘n’ crispy pizza bases and topped with tastier, stretchier mozzarella, it’s Domino’s most indulgent pizza crust EVER, and a testament to our dedication to all things cheese.

Domino’s Head of Product Development & Innovation Michael Treacy said the irresistible combo has truly stood the test of time, originally making its debut on the menu two decades ago in 2004.

“For those craving a taste of nostalgia and comfort, we’re thrilled to be reuniting fans with the beloved Double Decadence. As I always say, why have one crust, when you can have two?” Mr Treacy said.

“Each slice offers a mouthwatering sensation of wonderfully gooey cheese sauce oozing from the base as you bite into your pizza. Crust me, you need to try it.”

Thanks to the overwhelmingly positive responses on social media, customers can now add the deliciously decadent crust to any Large Domino’s pizza for a limited time only.

Domino’s ANZ Chief Marketing Officer Allan Collins said listening and delivering on customer feedback is what makes his job so enjoyable.

“Some pizzas come in and out of fashion but not our Double Decadence Crust. As all good pizza-connoisseurs know, the secret to a great pizza starts with the base, and this base is as mouthwatering and cheesy as they come! So it’s no surprise to us that customers have been crying out for its comeback.

“We even had one customer comment on our social channels every day for an entire YEAR asking us to bring it back – and at Domino’s, if there’s one thing we can guarantee, it’s that we always deliver.”

Customers can order in-store, through the Domino's app, or online at www.dominos.com.au.
