Domino’s Paddington gives a slice of thanks to local community upon reopening
Pizza lovers in Paddington will be thrilled to know Hot & Fresh pizzas are back on the menu with the official re-opening of Domino’s Paddington earlier this week.
After being impacted by a fire last November as a result of severe weather, Domino’s Paddington has been ‘proofing’ a new store over the past ten months, ensuring their new base would once again bring delicious pizzas to hungry locals.
Domino’s Paddington franchisees Cameron Smith and Lloyd Mitchell, who also own and operate Domino’s Spring Hill and Toowong together, are excited to be back in the Paddington community, providing delicious pizzas to locals.
“We’re delighted to be making, baking and taking pizzas to Paddington once again. To celebrate, we welcomed friends, family, and the community to the store over the weekend for a slice of their favourite pizza.
“From hosting a Community Day on Saturday, where locals had a go at making their own pizza, to giving out free pizzas on Sunday evening to our valued customers, it’s been great to see old and new faces again at Domino’s Paddington,” said Mr Smith.
Committed to saying thank you to those who assisted them in their time of need, one of Domino’s Paddington’s first deliveries was to the Roma Street Fire Station team, who helped put out the store’s fire last year.
“We’re very grateful to the Roma Street Fire Station team who were on hand to support our store last November. To say thank you, we wanted to provide lunch on us with a donation of pizzas as part of Domino’s Feed the Knead program, which aims to provide support to local causes in the form of free pizza,” said Mr Smith.
The opening celebrations for the re-opening of Domino’s Paddington are continuing over the next couple of weeks, with the store offering 50 per cent off all Large, Traditional and Premium pizzas (pickup and delivery) from Tuesday 4 – Sunday 9 October.
“We’ve missed having the opportunity to provide hot pizzas to Paddington over the past ten months. We’re grateful to all the locals who have supported us over the years, and this is our chance to say thank you. We’d like to encourage everyone to pop into the store to enjoy a slice of pizza so we can say hello again, or introduce ourselves if we haven’t met yet,” said Mr Smith.
Over the coming months, Domino’s Paddington plans to continue giving back to the local community through ‘Doughraisers’ with causes ranging from local sporting clubs to charities and local schools. If you know a local cause in ‘knead’, we recommend visiting the store to have a chat.
Domino’s Paddington is located at 1/232 Given Terrace, Paddington, Queensland.
